Facebook pundit and reality star Sarah Palin on Sunday praised and defended disgraced Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder for his response to fallout resulting from the water crisis in Flint, Mich.
"I admire Rick Snyder for stepping in to clean up Obama's mess right now.. He's going to the challenge, and he's fired people and been a true maverick instead of the hopey changey President and his teleprompter," the former Alaska governor told Fox News.
Palin rebuffed criticisms of the Michigan governor and cited a report by Americans for Prosperity-Michigan that indicates damage to Flint, Michigan's water system could have been caused by years of African Americans dumping toxic hair care supplies in the cities water system,
"Well, Governor Rick Snyder being the only one who's been willing, he's got the guts to wear the issues that the capitulatior in chief won't spoken of and debated on his sleeve. Where the rest of these pink ponies and apoligizers?, They just wanted to duck and hide, from all the great things Ronald Reagan provided. They didn't want to talk about these issues until we brought them up. In fact, they've been wearing this political correctness kind of like a suicide vest. The lamestream media is a spinin and enough is enough." Palin said.
Calls for Snyder to resign have intensified as it has grown increasingly clear that the Michigan governor ignored warnings that the water supply of Flint had been tainted.
Governor Snyder's office could not be reached for comment.
