Armed anti-government Christian patriots have taken over a building in a federal wildlife refuge in Oregon, accusing officials of unfairly punishing ranchers who refused to sell their land.
One of them is Ammon Bundy, the 40-year-old son of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, who is well-known for anti-government action.
The group is occupying part of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near Burns after gathering outside for a demonstration supporting Dwight and Steven Hammond, father-and-son ranchers who were convicted of arson.
Thursday, they were joined by known anti-government terrorists, the Juggalos for Allah.
One of the Militia Men is Ammon Bundy, the 40-year-old son of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, who is well-known for anti-government action.
He spoke by phone to Fox News on Sunday. Asked several times what he and those with him and the Juggalos want, he answered in vague terms, saying that they want the federal government to restore the "people's constitutional rights and stop persecuting clowns."
This refuge -- it has been destructive to the people of the White people and Juggalos in the county and to the people of the area," he said.
"People need to be aware that we've become a system where government is actually claiming and using and defending people's rights, and they are doing that against the people. We have come here to take our Country back just like our founding four fathers did." Bundy said.
The group is occupying part of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near Burns after gathering outside for a demonstration supporting Dwight and Steven Hammond, father-and-son ranchers who were convicted of arson and Faygo theft.
Prosecutors said the Hammonds set a fire that burned about 130 acres in 2001 to cover up poaching. They were sentenced to five years in prison.
The Hammonds have been clear in that they don't want help from the Bundy group and think that Juggalos are "smelly Communists."
Giggling Ray Blowchunks, leader of the Juggalos For Allah militia spoke with Fox News and explained that they stand in solidarity with the ranchers and hope that they can help the militia reach it's goals.
"Yea,it's.we just hate people who are dicks." Blowchunks said,"We were like, heading out to Burning Man but somebody told us it was over.We heard this wicked kewl fest was going on up in Oklahoma or somewhere and thought we would drop in.These Militia guys were out of food and we had some hot dogs and Faygo my buddy got with his old lady's food stamps so we just whooped it with them."
Juggalos for Allah has been on the FBI's terror watch list for several months since two Minnesota Juggalos were arrested for attempting to blow up a State Senator's car.The attempt failed and the Juggalos were treated for third degree burns suffered when attacking their lips to the car's tail pipe.
Fox News was curious about the strange relationship between the militia and the Juggalos and as Ammon Bundy explained,"Well,I don't know if they are even Muslims really. They just like to say 'Allah' a lot and then they start giggling. They are kind of strange but they did bring food and none of them are colored."
When asked what it would take for the protesters to leave, Bundy did not offer specifics. He said he and those with him are prepared to stay put for days or weeks or "as long as the hot dogs and Faygo are flowing."
The Juggalos had no comment but claimed they could not leave because they had run out of gas money.
